Workshop Details:

Striving to increase workplace diversity is a business trend now. A generation diversity will bring in wider perspectives and smarter expertise especially technology.  In recent years a body of research has revealed another, more nuanced benefit of workplace diversity: non-homogenous teams are simply smarter. Working with people who are different from you may challenge your brain to overcome its stale ways of thinking and sharpen its performance. There are some tactics suggested for employees and managers to manage how to work with diverse teams to achieve smarter result.

Alison is a seasoned human resources and talent development executive with 25 years in strategic training and talent management for multinational companies with global presence. Her professional experiences include leadership and people development, talent management, organizational development, workforce planning and employee engagement.

She was the global head of training and development in an international fashion trading company. Prior to leading her global training team, she has worked for sizeable organizations in hotel, exhibition, property, manufacturing, telecom technology and financial industry. Also, she has extensive exposure to cross cultural development for many organizations which are located in Asia, i.e. China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, in Americas, i.e. United States, Mexico, Peru, and in Europe, i.e. England, Italy.
